Hiking Trails
Hiking Trail 1 - ca. 2,5km
Difference in altitude: ca. 60m
The starting point is the parking area at the museum of local history "Hüsli". Crossing the Alpenblickweg walk the path through the Schlühüwanapark down to the nature preserve Schlüchtsee, continue here along the west bank to the Schlüchtseeweg (paved way) and return from here to the starting point.
Hiking Trail 2 - ca. 4km
Difference in altitude: ca. 60m
Point of departure is the same as in trail 1. On the Alpenblickweg, walk until the side road Hohtannenweg, go by the natural monument "Daniel the fir-tree", the largest white fir-tree in the Black Forest, and walk until you get to the former seedling orchard "Tännlegarten", continue on its path toward the forest parking area Schlüchtsee where you can find a convenience store, a place for berbecuing, an open-air schwimming area and a nature reserve. From here you can return to the starting point walking upwards on a hiking path through the Schlühüwana Park.
The parking area of the Lake Schlücht can be selected also as a starting point for the hiking trails 1 and 2.
Hiking Trail 3 - ca. 4km
Difference in altitude: ca. 30m
(Suitable also for wheelchair users and prams)
Starting point is the forest parking area Lake Schlücht. Go across the Saatschulweg, walk then by the former nursery "Tännlegarten" (resting area with fountain) until the side-road Hochstichweg. Return on this path and on the Eichelackerweg to the starting point.
Hiking Trail 4 - ca. 6,5km
Difference in altitude: ca. 90m
Starting point is the same as in trail 3. Over the Saatschulweg until the side-road Kapellenweg continue past the "Kapellentanne" chapel go across the road L 170 (Rothaus-Bonndorf) straight ahead to the Ebersbacher hut (barbecuing place) from here follow the Hardtackerweg and the Brunnstubenweg, cross here again the road L 170 over a path to the Alpenblickweg, now continue to the right till the side road Fußweg (by the museum Hüsli), then across the north side of the Schlühüwanapark walk downward to the Lake Schlücht and back to the departing point.
Hiking Trail 5 - ca. 8,5km
Difference in altitude: ca. 90m
Starting point is the museum of local history "Hüsli". On the Alpenblickweg go ca. 500m in north-easterly direction then left over a path cross the road L 170, over the Brunnstubenweg to the Steinahölzle hut, further over the Steinahölzleweg to the village Balzhausen. By the restaurant "Löwen" walk across a pasture slightly uphill towards Faulenfürst. At the road K 6519 go right a little then to the left over a path downward to Amertsfeld, there by the camping grounds go across the road L 170 and through the village Brünlisbach again back to the departure point.
The centre of the village Balzhausen is also suitable as a starting point.
Hiking Trail 6 - ca. 8,5km
Difference in altitude: ca. 170m
Departure point is the middle of the village Balzhausen / Kapelle.
The trail leads you over the Sommerbergweg downward to the upper Steinatal, further along the Steina stream down the valley past the Hummelhütte (berbecuing area) till the remote hamlet "Sommerau" (restaurant). From there walk ca. 500m uphill on a paved path until the side road Winterbergweg, on this trail go uphill to the Steinahölzlehütte and Across the Steinahölzleweg back to the starting point.
Hiking Trail 7 - ca. 9,5km
Difference in altitude: ca. 110m
Starting point is the middle of the town Grafenhausen, at the town hall square. From there walk down to the Promenadeweg, along the brook uphill go a little bit across the Waldlehrpfad (refuge hut) to the nature reserve Schlüchtsee. On the east side past the swimming area (kiosk) on a hiking trail through the northern part of the Schlühüwana Park, walk uphill tot he museum of local hisotry "Hüsli". At the crossroads in Rothaus diverting into a longer stretch of the "Mid-Course Pforzheim-Waldshut" of the Black Forest Society, go through the village Brünlisbach and passing by the ski-lift to the Schaffhauser saw-mill. Continue across the Brandhaldenweg and Gupfenweg uphill tot the Gupfen heights, from there turning left on the pasture towards the village Bohlisch and across the Spiechergässle back to the starting point.
Hiking Trail 8 - ca. 10km
Difference in altitude: 130m
Departure point is the museum of local history "Hüsli".
Through the village Brünlisbach until the centre of the locality go then right downward to the Mettmatal and aross the old Seebrugger country road till the side road Jogeleweg continue here then across to the Glasmattweg, go past the Glasmatt hut. From here upwards till the side road Rehwinkelweg, going by the Rehwinkel hut across the Konrad-Bär-Weg to the Olpismatthütte (State forest, Schaffhausen, barbecuing area) over the Sonnhaldenweg again downwards to the Mettmatal, now left till the side road Ski-lift. There, 50m beforde the Mondhof go uphill on the trail and through Brünlisbach return to the starting point. At the side-road Rehwinkelweg it is pissible to hike leisurely in the direciton of Seebrugg across the back road Stutzweg and the old Rothauser country road. From Seebrugg you can terun to the "Hüsli" either by bus or via Faulenfürst and Rothaus.
Hiking Trail 9 - ca. 8,5km
Difference in altitude: ca. 120m
Starting point is the town centre of Grafenhausen / Town hall square. Walk from here down to the Promenadenweg. At the Schlücht go uphill till the Schlüchtseeweg (paved way), continue here for about 300m then straight ahead over the Eichelackerweg till the side-road Hochstichweg, walk further and then on a signposted path downhill to the Erlenbachtal. There go over the Wasserrainweg to the Kreuzplatzhütte (barbecuing area), next on the Sceiterhaldenweg tot he Kreuzplatzhütte (barbecuing area), next on the Scheiterhaldenweg and Feldermoosweg until the road L 157 (Granfenhausen - Birkendorf), go across towards the purificaton plant and on the Unteren Mühlenweg return to the strarting point.
Hiking Trail 10
ca. 10 km - Difference in altitude: 170m
over Roggenbach: 15km - Difference in altitude: 220m
Starting point is the town centre of Grafenhausen / Town hall square. Walk over the Unteren Muhlenweg till the purification plant, go across road L 157 and continue over the Feldermoosweg and Trestenbachweg, walk by the Rombachhütte downwards to Erlenbachtal. Here you can walk down the valley to visit the Roggenbach ruins. Return to the previous path and walk uphill till the Kreuzplatzhütte (barbecuing area), after ca. 250m the valley uphill, go left over the Ebneterweg and return to the starting point.
Hiking Trail 11 - ca. 3,5km
Difference in altitude: ca. 20m

Strating point is the forest parking lot Langenstein. On the Langensteinweg and the Hirschbrunnenweg walk to the Rombachhütte, then go back over the Trestenbachweg, the Feldermoosweg and Breimattleweg. At the parking lot Langenstein it is possible to hike to Birkendorf and back using the sign-posted paths (34) of the community Ühlingen-Birkendorf.
Hiking Trail 12 - ca. 13km
Difference in altitude: ca. 190m
Starting point is the town centre of Grafenhausen / town hall square. Walk by the cafe "Ratsstüble" then across a green path through the spa park go uphill to the village Gerolshofstetten, then turning right past the restaurant "Haringer-Hof" walk uphill to the road K 6500. At a small forest parking lot go over a path across to the Hüttenweg and on this go through the Kehrhalde, once You`ve arrived again at the K 6500 go a bit to the right ca. 120m and then left over the Moosweg to the town Mettenberg. There go straight ahead over the Risshaldenweg (berbecuing area) downhill to the Schlüchttal, once here turn sharply on the Schlüchttalweg, walk uphill to the Tannenmühle. At the opposite bank of the river Schlücht between trout ponds and game reserve up the brook 500m continue to the Schlüchtmühle. There go across the access road and after the Garages go uphill on the Promenadenweg to the purification plant and from there over the unteren Mühlenweg walk back tothe centre of the town.

Hiking Trail 13 - ca. 5km
Difference in altitude: ca. 140m
Starting point is the town centre of Grafenhausen / town hall square. Just as in hiking trail 12 walk to the village Geroldshofstetten, from there straight ahead on the local service road walk to the village Rippoldsried. Before the recreation area "Schisselhof", go to the left over the Kurzeweg downhill to the Schlüchttal then to the "Tannenmühle". Return here to Grafenhausen following the route of trail 12.
Hiking Trail 14 - ca. 5km
Difference in altitude: ca. 160m
Starting point is the village centre of Mettenberg / Kapelle. At the local service road in the direction of Grafenhausen walk 500m until the side-road Gregoltsholzweg, continue on this path downhill to the Schlüchttal, at the "Tannenmühle" to the right over the Schlüchttalweg down the valley until the cross-road. At the "Waldschenke" return to the starting point via the Falkentalweg.
Hiking Trail 15 - ca. 11km
Difference in altitude: ca. 180m
Starting point is the centre of the village Buggenried / Kapelle. Go first to the north until the road K 6500, after ca. 150m go right over the Moosweg to the village of Mettenberg. From there continue straight ahead over the Risshaldenweg (berbecuing area) downhill to the Schlüchttal to the restaturant Waldschenke. Over the local service road, walk to the hamlets Igelschlatt and Seewangen. Continue in the direction of Hürrlingen until the side-road Finsterbachweg, on this path further to the parking lot, now over the Hennewiesenweg go past the hamlet Kasslet, then crossing the road K 6500 walk back to the starting point.

Hiking Trail 16 - ca. 3,5km
Difference in altitude: ca. 80m
Starting point is the centre of the village Buggenried / Kapelle. Going first west then slowly to the south on the new Buggenrieder Bergweg until the side-road Frankenbrunnenweg, continue here for about 250m and a bit after the Dobel (corner) (Bittenbach) go left on a path uphill to the Oberen Frankenbrunnenweg. Going now left over the Bittenweg return to the starting point.
Hiking Trail 17 - ca. 9km
Difference in altitude: ca. 200m
Starting point is the centre of the village Buggenried / Kapelle. Walk ca. 500m to the west until the side-road Alter Buggenrieder Bergweg. Continue on this path until the side-road Bedebachweg and here walk for about 250m. Go now left over a path at the edge of the forest downhill to the Mettmatal. At the "Heidenmühle" going down the valley over the Schwarzwaldvereinweg, go past the Mettmaholzhütte (berbecuing area) till the Mettma reservoir and side-road Erlenbergweg. Continue here uphill to the Erlenberghütte (barbecuing area). Afterwards at the crossroad go left over the Lerchengartenweg to the Natziplatz; go again left ca. 100m on the Matzirundweg to the side-road Oberer Frankenbrunnenweg returning from here and over the Bittenweg to Buggenried
Hiking Trail 18 - ca. 15km
Difference in altitude: ca. 180m
Starting point is the town centre of Grafenhausen / town hall square. Go first to the west through the Spiechergässle, cross the road K 6500 then after ca. 200m turn left and over a green path go uphill to the Gupfenweg. Going down on this path tot he Branhaldenweg turn to the right a bit until the crossroad, continue here legt on the Brunnenweg ca. 750m until the branching pf a path. Walk here steep downhill to the Mettmatal, further down the valley go until the "Klausenmühle", going here to the right over the Mettma stream on a path uphill to Höhe Schwand. From here, walk on a paved country way, across to Staufen. From there return to the same way utner the side-road Schönenbach, then on the SV-path across to Schönenbach, now on the road K 6501 go for about 300m in the direction of Grafenhausen. Then go left uphill on a path to Hürneweg, continue now to the right to the Hürnehütte (barbecuing area) from here over the Schlundweg walk again downhill to the Mettmatal (Lanzenfurt). Continue now to the left up the valley on the road K 6501 till the Schaffhauser saw-mill, from this point continue on the road K 6501 uphill to Signau and from there go back to the starting point.
Hiking Trail 19 - ca. 6km
Difference in altitude: ca. 100m
Starting point is the village Staufen / Kapelle. On the road L 158 go about 250m to the south until the side-road Funkturmweg. Continue uphill to the radio tower "Staufenhopf", there go on straight ahead across to the Berholzweg, continue left here for about 500m, then go right over a path across to the Obere Stallholzweg. Remain on this path until Schönenbach and return from there over a paved country way to the starting point.
Hiking Trail 20 - ca, 8,5km
Difference in altitude: ca. 100m
Starting point is the village Staufen / Kapelle. On the road K 4989 go south for about 300m till the side-road Gisibuckweg and over this path down to the Schwarzabruck street, go left here for about 250m uphill to the side-road Muldenweg, continue here and over the Hirzebadweg to the Spane square, walk further on an alpine path through the "Bannwald" forest across to the Eichholzweg, over this way and the Gisbachweg go again uphill to the road L 158, go a bit to the right and at the crossroad left further over the Alten Staufener Weg return to the initial point.
Hiking Trail 21 - ca. 12km
Difference in altitude: ca. 170m
Starting point is the village of Brenden. From the church building walk to the Dorfstrasse, go by the restaurant Hirschen and continue until the side-road Eichholzweg. Going uphill (ignore the side-road to the left Gäßleweg) continue till the hairpin bend, towards to middle of it climb the narrow rocky path (Rappelfelsenweg). This is a protected forest area with Alpine character. At the end of this path you`ll come to the Spänenplatz. You can take a shortcut by going to the right here and down over the main road. Otherwise, continue going down the valley till the road branches towards Hirzebadweg, Muldenweg to the reservoir`s wall. From there, on a tarred street, walk past the parking lot and return to Brenden.
Hiking Trail 22 - ca. 8,5km
Difference in altitude: ca. 190m
Starting point is the village of Brenden. Beginning at the church building, walk to the Dorfstrasse, go by the restaurant Hirschen and continue till the side-road Eichholzweg. Go on here downwards till the Gäßleweg (shortcut till road branches at Schachenweg) which leads, by way of the purification plant, to the "Großen Felsen" (Huge Rock). Here you can enjoy a view over the Schwarza valley or take a break at the rest area where you`ll find a table and benches for your convenience. You can continue now on the Gäßleweg until the Silberhaldenweg, go right in a hairpin turn downwards to the Griesgrabenhütte(hut). Here you`ll find a rest area with a fireplace for barbecuing. Continue along the Silberhaldenweg until the Eichholzweg going uphill towards Brenden.
Hiking Trail 23 - ca. 9km
Difference in altitude: ca 180m
Starting in Brenden walk downhill to the Mettmatal then go right until the Holzbrucke (wooden bridge), continue along the lake until the reservoir`s wall continue this way and on the other side of the lake return to Brenden.
Hiking Trail 24 - ca. 8km
Difference in altitude: ca. 200m
Starting point is the town Berau. At the parking lot by the Falkensteinhalle (Hallenstrasse) go right downwards to the country road until the crossroad. Go across the country road K 6594 and on the Kalbergackerberg, along the Schwarzatalhalde past the old Flakstand and then continue over the hut path downwards to the Schwarzatal. To the right on the Schwarzastrasse go down the valley (above the road you can observe teh remains of an old ore mine) until the side-road Hinterbannenbach. Continue here to the right on the Wannenbachweg. After a link curve go further till the Bruggenholzhütte. Over the Tierlenweg, passing by the Nikolaus chapel and on the Haubachweg you`ll come again to the cross-road K 6594 with the Falkensteinhalle on sight.
Hiking Trail 25 - ca. 7km
Ascending slopes
Starting point is the town hall in the centre of the town Berau (school road), go a bit uphill then left on the country road in the direction of Oberdorf, now to the right on the path "Am Wasserschloss" (part of a pump-storage hydroelectric power plan, panoramic view). The path leads you through an open meadow landscape. Proceed now left at the edge of the woods on the Steinbruchweg in the direction of Brenden till the Eichstaudenhütte, just before it got right downwards, then along the edge of the forest on the Bruckenbachweg walk until the community feeder road to Berau. Walk along the right side of this road for about 500m, turn right again across the Bergstrasse (panoramic view) and return to Berau.
Hiking Trail 26 - ca. 7km
Difference in altitude: 150m
Starting at the town hall of the town Berau (school road 1) go downwards and then to the right along the country road towards the country road, continue on the left side of the road till the parking lot. The path continues here to the left along the Schlüchttal steep rock slope. Three prominent pinnacles, the so-called "Falkenstein", can be seen bellow the road. Go further on the Witzeichenweg till the road branching, go left here on the Rutlochweg. The path leads, past the Schwedenfelsen (Swedish Rocks), back to Berau.

Several shorts ascents
Leaving from the town centre of Hürrlingen go into the country road in the direction of Buggenried until the exit to Sägebächle (800m), continue left down the valley and at the crossroad go right uphill over the Bächhaldenweg to the Erlenberghütte, proceed over the Erlenberg down to the Mettmatal, from here continue down the valley along the reservoir till 400m bellow the reservoir`s wall then go left uphill and over the Kopfle, Sagebachle, Mulleck return to Hürrlingen

Moderate ascents
Starting poiont is the village Riedern. Walk from the church building to the Propsteistrasse uphill to the restaurant Berghof, turn here to the right on the Sportplatzweg. After the Sportplatz go left to the Wieleckweg till the Wieleckhütte. Proceed here left across the Lochwiesenweg, at the top go right again down to the Langhaagweg towards Riedern.
Hiking trail 29 - ca. 6km
Almost flat terrain
Departure point is the village of Riedern. Walk from the church building on the Propsteistrasse uphill to the restaturant Berghof, go left here over Muckwies, Muckholzweg, Wallengasse, go across the country road then over Vogelwies going past the Friedenslichtkapelle (chapel) continue on the Denkmalstrasse till the crossroas, to the left of the Hardbuchstrasse go until the crossroas, going across continue straight ahead to the starting point. Paths run along an open high plateau.
Hiking Trail 30 - ca. 4,5km
Difference in altitude: - 150m
Starting point is the town of Hürrlingen. At the centre of the town, passing by the restaurant Hirschen, (local road) go over the country road in the direction of Seewangen, once at the top turn left on the Langenmoosweg then left again over the Ritschiweg, Hauchertweg pass the Antoniuskapelle (chapel) now go left on the country road and return to the starting point.
Hiking Trail 31 - ca. 10km
Difference in altitude: - 150m
Starting point is the new town hall in Ühlingen (Kirchplatz 1). Go by the chruch square then right in the Kirchstrasse turn left and walk up the steps leading to the Oberhauweg, continue until the crossroad, go here left on the Finsterbachweg and left again on the path Blumattweg, now cross the Seewangerstrasse. At the parking site over the Hauchert go left on the path Ritischiweg in the direction of the town Hürrlingen. At the chapel Antoniuskapelle go to the right along the local road then turn left and follow the sign-posted paths of the Black Forest Society, until Riedern am Wald. At the Priory St. Leodegar go left and down the street Propsteistrasse. Over the crossroad continue straight ahead on the street Hardbuckstrasse till the furniture store Preiser. Keep straight on the path Feldweg over the Hardbuck (panoramic view) to the beginning of the town Ühlingen, turn here left then along the street Im Hard continue until the Chruch Square (Kirchplatz). This is a strech of land with wonderful panoramic views of the Alps.
Hiking Trail 32 - ca. 8km
Only short ascents
From the chruch building in Birkendorf go to the north on the street Schwarzwaldstrasse then turn left on the Oberholzstrasse. After the parking lot Oberholz go left on the Naturerlebnispfad (Experience nature path), take the shortcut over the Bartlestein until the Schlüchttalweg, proceed here right and then left over the bridge Schlüchtbrücke and pass by the former clothing factory, go here first to the left and then to the right uphill on a narrow footpath. At the top go left on the Rüttewaldringweg until the crossroad Finsterbachweg. Continue right over the Tiefenwiesen then right again on the street Seewanger. Now continue on the right over Igelschlatt down to the valley to the Waldschenke. From there on the path, (where you can see figure-heads which have been carved on tree roots) passing by the sawmill and over the street Oberholzstrasse, return to the chruch square.
Hiking Trail 33 - ca. 7km
Moderate ascents
Starting point is the new town hall of the town of Ühlingen (Kirchplatz 1). Go down the steps of the town hall towards the main street and walk until the Apotheke (Pharmacy) then go right to the street Berghaus. Continue on the left side till the end of the town. At the cemetery, go in the direction of Witzhalden. At the Schwalbenhof kepp straight on the path Libachweg, go here then right on the path Eisweiherweg, proceed here to the left down the valley on the county communication road then right on the Oberen Eichholzweg until the road L 157. At the guard rail go left on the Birhaldenweg (Peterlingsloch). Proceed to the left uphill on the footpath over the Schlücht (Geissensteg) go further to the left on the path Schlüchtweg then to the right towards Donnerberg. At the hut Donnerberghütte go left on a path that goes through the forest downwards to Finsterbach. Continue here on the Oberhauweg, then at a sharp angle go left to the path bellow Herrenweg which leads all the way down to Ühlingen. Go by the tennis-courts, walk then uphill the Kirchstrasse, pass the church building then to the left return to the parking lot.
Hiking Trail 34 - ca. 12km
Most of the stretch is flat terrain
Starting at the chruch building in Birkendorf on the street Schwarzwaldstrasse go for a bit in a north-west direction, continue then to the left on the street Oberholzstrasse. After the paring lot by the forest Oberholz go to the right on a footpath until Hohlgasse go across here over the bridge Holzbrücke on the footpath over the Köpfle (hillock) till the Rotelbachweg, keep right for a little while then left over a small bridge go uphill on the path, turn now left on the Müllersbergweg, continue here until the Waldhäusle on the country road L 157 amd go across here. At the forest parking lot, follow straight on the Langensteinweg until Horben, over the Bühl (a lookout point) again on the street Bühlstrasse return to the starting point.
Hiking Trail 35 - ca. 12 km
Difference in altitude: - ca. 200m
Beginning at the church building in Birkendorf, walk over the street Bühlstrasse, the Birklerundweg, the Birkleweg got then downhill to the Steinatal. At the crossroad Illmühle go right towards Bettmaringen, at the left curve walk a short ascent, go then left on the Roggenbachweg until the Roggenbacher Schlössern (ruins of ancient castles). Continue the Steiner upstream till the forest parking lot Roggenbach. Go across the country road. At the restaurant Roggenbach proceed on the Erlenbachweg until the side road Fohrenhölzle, turn here left to the path Trestenbachweg. At lake Trestenbach go left to the Fohrenhölzleweg then right uphill to the Wasenweg, go now left on the Langensteinweg until you get to Horben, cross the Horbenerstrasse over the Bühl (a lookout point). On the street Bühlstrasse go back to Birkendorf to the starting point.
If you need a wheelchair or have a child in a pram you can choose a shorter trail (ca. 3,5km) without major elevation differentials, just turn right on the path Birklerrundweg over the Kühnwiesen. At the local road in the Direction of Oberwitzhalden return to the starting point.
Hiking Trail 36 - ca. 9km
Moderate ascents
Starting point is the new town hall building in Ühlingen (Chrurch square). Walk down the stairs of the town hall and go left in the main street until you come to the pharmacy. Turn now to the right on the Berghausstrasse, continue here on the left until you arrive at the end of the town, at the cemetery. Proceed here to the left in the direction of Witzhalden, go past the Witzhalder Bühl (771) and continue to Oberwitzhalden, go here immediately to the right then right again on the Steinehaldeweg. Continue here downhill over Steinahalde, Neufohrenweg, Geissenloch and Stockentobel further to the country road, on the right side of the road, over the hill, return to Ühlingen.
Hiking Trail 37 - ca. 3km
Difference in altitude: - ca. 50m
Starting point is the village Obermettingen. At the parking lot go further downwards passing the community hall and before the end of the village turn right on the Seitenackerweg. Walk by the sport grounds go then through the woods downwards to the Steinatal. Go over a footbridge and cross teh country road, half way up on the other side of the valley follow the path until the road, going downhill now go across the country road. Pass the Stockensäge and walk on a tarred path back to the starting point.
Hiking Trail 38 - ca. 5km
Minor differences in altitude
Starting point is the village Obermettingen. At the centre of the village, follow by the community hall turn now to the right and over Oschweg and Grossholzweg go in the direction of Bettmaringen. Once you come to the rest area over the Grossholzweg return on the commnity feeder road to the starting point.
Hiking Trail 39 - ca. 7,5km
Difference on altitude: ca. 150m
Staring at the sports grounds of the village Untermettingen go over Gewanne Bispel and Hinterholz in the direction of Stockenhöfe. At the way branching go to the left on the Hinterholzweg once at Gewann Steinahalden, over a steep ascent, continue on the Samenweg uphill towards Ühlingen. When you get there, at about 250m from the Street Berghausstrasse, turn left uphill to the Hermannschau (observation point). Continue on the mountain ridge until the Hardtwald, now go left downhill to Endermettingen and over the country road go back to the starting point.
Hiking Trail 40 - ca. 6km
Difference in altitude: - ca. 200m
Starting oint is the village fo Untermettingen.
From the parking lot on the Römerweg go over the country road, turn the left and after 200m along the nature reserve Katzenbuchhalde until the community feeder road continue in the direction to Obermettingen. After the refuse dump go down on a footpath to the Steinatal, go across the river Steina and the country road then over the Herrenweg towards Untermettingen. Go past the Restaurant Hirschen, continue on a tarred path uphill then crossing the country road until the Römerweg and return to the starting point.
